Được biết, đây là giải thưởng đầu tiên mà Peaches đã nhận được kể từ ngày ra mắt.
2. Màn hợp tác xuất sắc nhất
Không ai khác ngoài Kiss Me More - cực phẩm của 2 nữ rapper Doja Cat và SZA, chính là chủ nhân chiến thắng hạng mục này. Với độ phủ sóng dày đặc trên mạng xã hội toàn cầu cũng như sự bền bỉ vô hạn trên BXH Billboard Hot 100, Kiss Me More đã chính thức được mệnh danh là Màn hợp tác xuất sắc nhất của năm 2021 tại lễ trao giải Video Music Awards.
Tương tự như giải Ca khúc Pop xuất sắc nhất, Kiss Me More cũng đối đầu với không ít đối thủ đáng gờm tại hạng mục này, trong đó tiêu biểu phải nhắc đến là WAP - Cardi B Ft. Megan Thee Stallion.
3. Nghệ sĩ mới xuất sắc nhất
Đúng như dự đoán, Olivia Rodrigo đã xuất sắc dành lấy giải thưởng Nghệ sĩ mới xuất sắc nhất tại lễ trao giải VMAs. Với hàng loạt những thành tích "vô tiền khoáng hậu" mà giọng ca trẻ tuổi đã thiết lập chỉ trong năm đầu debut trong đó bao gồm 2 ca khúc No.1 cũng như kỷ lục debut lớn nhất năm, ta có thể tự tin khẳng định rằng Olivia là một nhân tố vô cùng tiềm năng của làng nhạc US-UK.
