Dù chưa diễn ra nhưng Oscar 2024 được đánh giá là đáng xem, bởi dàn khách mời hùng hậu, dàn đề cử hấp dẫn cùng nhiều yếu tố mới mẻ.
Oscar thường được biết đến là Giải thưởng Viện Hàn lâm, được sáng lập bởi Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học và Nghệ thuật Điện ảnh (Hoa Kỳ). Được trao lần đầu vào năm 1929, giải thưởng Oscar có ý nghĩa tôn vinh những cá nhân, tổ chức có đóng góp tích cực ở mảng phim ảnh. Bên cạnh những cúp vàng danh giá được trao, màn đọ nhan sắc, váy áo của dàn khách mời đình đám.
Jimmy Kimmel sẽ là MC cầm trịch giải thưởng năm nay, đây là lần thứ 4 ông đảm nhiệm vai trò này. Điều này khiến khán giả phần nào an tâm, bởi Jimmy Kimmel nổi tiếng là người có lối dẫn hấp dẫn, lịch sự, duyên dáng, ít tạo lùm xùm cho giải thưởng. Điều khiến Oscar 2024 trở nên đáng xem chính là sự trở lại của 5 người chiến thắng từ mùa trước, họ sẽ phát biểu tri ân rồi tham gia trao giải. Đây chính là sự mới mẻ của Oscar năm nay so với những năm trước đó.
Danh sách đề cử các hạng mục tại Oscar 2024
Kết quả Oscar 2024 được cho là khá dễ đoán, bởi sự vượt trội về chất lượng của một số cái tên góp mặt trong dàn đề cử. "Bom tấn" Hollywood - Oppenheimer của đạo diễn Christopher Nolan, dẫn đầu với 13 đề cử, góp mặt ở hầu hết các hạng mục lớn nhỏ. Phim được dự đoán sẽ thắng lớn, tương tự trường hợp của Everything Everywhere All At Once của Dương Tử Quỳnh năm trước.
